It’s Okay To Be A Loser

September 24, 2014 - 1 minute read

Most of us are unhappy with ourselves more than anything else. We often beat ourselves up thinking we haven’t done enough, that we’re not good enough. We do things and later wonder what others might think of us. We allow others to determine the soundtrack of our life that only beats to the tune of others. We buy things we don’t need to impress people who don’t matter, including strangers and annoying relatives.¬†And the maddening list goes on and on, ad nauseam, ad infinitum. Have you ever thought that perhaps it’s okay to fall below the bar of mediocrity while walking around with the proverbial L stapled on your forehead? That maybe there’s a silver lining here, there, somewhere. Who knows? Now, breathe in, breathe out, and repeat this mantra: it’s okay to be a loser. And here, Locker Room explains why this paradox makes perfect sense.
